At Studer Family Children’s Hospital, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care for every child, regardless of age or condition. To further our mission of delivering the highest standard of care, we are thrilled to announce an important milestone: the launch of our new Neonatal and Pediatric Ambulances. This new addition is designed to transport critically ill babies and children across Southern Alabama and Northwest Florida.
Every year, over 1,028 children from 14 counties rely on our hospital for the specialized care they need. Thanks to the generous support from our community and donors, we now have two state-of-the-art ambulances specifically designed for neonatal and pediatric patients. These ambulances are equipped with the latest medical technology, ensuring that critically ill babies and children are transported safely and efficiently to our hospital for immediate care. Each ambulance is staffed with highly trained medical professionals specializing in neonatal and pediatric emergency care, providing expert support during transport.
The importance of this service cannot be overstated. Timely access to advanced medical care can make a life-saving difference for children in critical condition. By expanding our capabilities with these specialized ambulances, we can offer families peace of mind, knowing that their child will receive the best possible care, no matter where they are located.
This achievement is made possible by the unwavering dedication of our supporters—individuals and organizations whose generosity is helping to change lives. We would like to extend a special thank you to Cat Country Cares for Kids Radiothon, the Sandy Sansing Family, and the Bubba and Angie Watson Family Foundation. Your contributions have made this important initiative a reality. It is because of your support that we are able to ensure children have access to the treatment they deserve.
As we celebrate this important milestone, we express our deepest gratitude to everyone who made it possible. Together, we are making a lasting impact on the lives of children and their families, and we are excited to continue our mission of delivering hope and healing for the future of our community.
